ALKU-Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH has 40 years of experience in the manufacture and application of diamond and CBN tools. Experience that we have accumulated by means of close cooperation with our customers in the line of industries, engineering, automobile production, glass, ceramic, cutting tools, electronics and watches. Here is a brief review of the most important events in our 40-year history:

1973
Founding of the company Allmendinger und Kucher GbR in Murr.
Production area 35 m².
Production of resin and metal bonded diamond and CBN grinding tools.
Production of dressing tools.

1977
Move to Marbach am Neckar and foundation of the company
ALKU-Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH; Production area 220 m²

1984
Expansion of the manufacturing possibilities:
Grinding tools in metal bond up to Ø 500 mm.

1986
Günther Allmendinger is the associate/proprieter of the company;
Production area 320 m²

1987
Expansion of the manufacturing possibilities:
Grinding tools in resin bond up to Ø 600 mm

1996
Move to Steinheim. Günther Allmendinger’s sons Holger and Frank are appointed Managing Directors; Production area 800 m²

2007
Handing over of the company to Holger and Frank Allmendinger

2008
Expansion of the production area to 1200 m²

2013
